Brianna joined ZONE in 2023 following the completion of her Masters of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Saskatchewan. Prior to this, she completed her Kinesiology degree at the University of Saskatchewan as well. During this time, she had the opportunity to volunteer as a Student Trainer for several years with various Huskie programs including the football, women’s soccer, and the track and field teams as a part of their medical staff. Bri enjoys spending her free time on the golf course in the summers and at the golf simulator during the off-season. Professionally, she aims to help people reach their movement goals in a collaborative approach with a focus on strength and conditioning.

Melinda joined ZONE Sports Physiotherapy after graduating with a Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Saskatchewan. She also completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology via the University of Saskatchewan, including a strength and conditioning internship with IGNITE Athletics and work as a Huskie Athletics student trainer with the women’s basketball team. Melinda is dedicated to helping patients across the lifespan reach their functional and performance goals, and sharing her passion for exercise and an active lifestyle. She has a special interest in sport physiotherapy, from sideline coverage to clinical rehabilitation, and continues to work with the Saskatoon Valkyries women’s football team. Melinda grew up playing a wide variety of sports, and continues enjoy golf and playing broomball recreationally and competitively. Outside of work she continues to enjoy various sports, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.​

Mitch has been in sports and orthopedic physiotherapy private practice since graduating from the University of Saskatchewan in 1994, and is one of ZONE Sports Physiotherapy’s founding partners. In addition to receiving his Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy from Sport Physiotherapy Canada, Mitch’s sport experience includes extensive clinical practice and consultation work with a variety of local, provincial, national, collegiate, and professional calibre athletes, as well as being a member of the medical staff at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games, and a therapist with Athletics Canada, Baseball Sask, and Football Sask. He also works as a consultant with the Saskatoon Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center. Mitch has a special interest in youth sport, educating young athletes and parents regarding injury prevention and long term athlete development. His special interest in baseball has taken him to conferences across the continent to discuss current concepts in injury management, prevention and performance alongside MLB team orthopedic surgeons, physicians, and therapists. Outside of work Mitch enjoys plenty of family time, college football, the great outdoors, music, and his trusty Jeep.

Jonathan joined ZONE Sports Physiotherapy in 2016. He has been involved with private practice sports and orthopedic physiotherapy in Saskatoon since graduating from the University of Saskatchewan with a Masters in Physical Therapy in 2011. Prior to this, Jonathan completed his Kinesiology degree, graduating with great distinction. Jonathan has completed the Diploma of Spinal Manipulation through the Canadian Orthopedic Division. He has also acquired certification in vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, and functional dry needling (FDN). Jonathan has a keen interest in the management and treatment of dizziness, vertigo, concussion, neck pain, headaches, and temporomandibular joint dysfunction. Jonathan enjoys spending most of his spare time with his three daughters. They stay active by camping, being outdoors, biking, and playing numerous sports together. ​

Justin joined ZONE Sports Physiotherapy in the spring of 2011. Justin has been involved in private practice orthopedic physiotherapy in Saskatoon since graduating with Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan School of Physical Therapy in 2008. He has demonstrated his expertise in orthopedics and rehabilitation by obtaining his Diploma of Spinal Manipulation through the Canadian Orthopedic Division in 2011 as well as his certification in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation in 2013. Justin has played competitive golf at local, provincial and national levels and has since developed a keen interest in working with both competitive and recreational players. In addition, he has interest in the strength and conditioning aspects of health and fitness while integrating functional movement concepts into his treatment philosophy.

Leah joined ZONE Sports Physiotherapy in 2020. She has been in orthopedic physiotherapy private practice since graduating from the University of Saskatchewan with a Masters in Physical Therapy in 2014. Prior to that she graduated with a Bachelor of Science with high honours from the University of Saskatchewan in 2007 and a Master of Science from Dalhousie University in 2009. Leah strives to help her client’s meet their rehabilitation goals through the integration of manual therapy, functional movement, and therapeutic exercise prescription. She has acquired certifications in pelvic floor physiotherapy and Biomedical Dry Needling (BDN). Leah has a special interest in pelvic floor physiotherapy, including prenatal and postpartum rehabilitation, incontinence, pelvic pain and dysfunction, and pelvic organ prolapse. As a new mom herself, Leah can attest to the key role of prenatal and postpartum pelvic floor care, especially in transitioning from rehabilitation to recreation and fitness. Outside of work Leah enjoys spending time with her family, strength training, and triathlon.

Keenan joined the ZONE Sports Physiotherapy team in 2019. Keenan graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2012 with his Kinesiology degree and in 2014 with his Masters in Physical Therapy. He also attended the University of Queensland in Australia during his undergraduate studies. Keenan has obtained some of the highest standards in manual therapy and needling, completing his Diploma in Spinal Manipulation through the Canadian Orthopaedic Division, and in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation through the University of British Columbia respectively. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physical Therapy (FCAMPT). He believes in combining manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional movement concepts to achieve each client’s goals in rehabilitation and performance. Outside of physical therapy, Keenan enjoys cooking, travelling with his wife, and a variety of outdoor activities including golfing and rock climbing.
